Name: Overland Polish Underfolder
Description: We start with a "hand selected" Premium Polish Under Folder Kit with matching serial numbers. This semi-automatic 7.62x39 AKM-47 includes a chromed lined barrel with little or no use. The heart of this rifle is built on a NODAK SPUD/DCI (USA) stamped double stack 1.0 mm receiver. Finish is GUN-KOTE Semi-Gloss Black. The rifle includes a Tapco (USA) G2 Fire Control group with an improved trigger pull (3-4lbs) along with a Red Star Arms (USA) axis pin retaining plate, and a Buffer Technologies (USA) spring buffer. A new stainless steel piston (USA)is used to replace the original imported one. The wood furniture from the original gun is cleaned, lightly sanded, and then hand rubbed with preservative oil. The Under Folder stock is disassembled, inspected for defects and out of spec tolerances, refinished, and then reassembled. The pistol grip is the original Bakelite pistol grip that is cleaned, polished, and oiled so as to preserve the original, authentic look of a collector's rifle. We also utilize a USA manufactured slant angle muzzle brake that provides for better control when a rapid fire sequence is desired. The original piston is replaced with a USA manufactured stainless steel one to improve performance and reliability. The rifle is checked for proper head spacing and is test fired. This beautifully restored semi-auto rifle meets or exceeds the Federal Regulations for USA parts compliance. Also included is a 30 round Bulgarian steel reinforced waffle magazine, along with an original polish rifle sling, cleaning kit, oil bottle, instruction manual, and a hard shell case.
